Enroll online to obtain a username and password. Login to download the
C2DInc backup agent, a small transparent program for your computer or server.
Once installed, the C2DInc Backup program will present you with a wizard, that walks you step by step through selecting files to be backed up, grouping them into Backup Sets and setting up automatic schedules.

As a service to our customers we can also analyze your current data and determine the optimal backup strategy. This allows you to save on storage fees by reducing the amount of unnecessary data backed up with
C2DInc as well as ensure that the critical data is being backed up.
Backup
Fully automatic, no human intervention required
Once the software is installed and configured, a schedule is set up to backup your data completely automatically, typically after business hours. Thanks to our FastBIT sub-incremental backup technology, the amount of data actually transferred to our data center is small and the entire process takes only a few minutes.
Initial Full Online Backup
The very first time, C2DInc's online backup service performs an initial backup of all selected files on your computer or server. From then on,
C2DInc uses patented technology to back up data only at the byte level as it is changed. Such small data transmissions pose no performance issues for your network but guarantee data recovery of your critical files.
Securing your data
Before data leaves your computer it is encrypted with industry-strength AES 128-bit encryption. It is then transmitted to our
high-security data center and immediately replicated to a second data center hundreds of miles away. Your data is always stored in its encrypted form and can only be decrypted by you in case of a restore.
Ongoing backup monitoring
C2DInc Storage constantly monitors the success of our customers' backups and in case of a problem notifies you immediately. Optionally, you can configure your backup agent to automatically email you after every successful backup. This gives you true peace of mind knowing that not only have you identified the correct data to backup but is it actually working.
Recovery
Availability of your backed up data
Your data is ALWAYS available for restoration via the Internet using either the backup agent program installed on your computer or via our Web Restore portal. The data can be restored to either the computer from which it was originally backed up or to any Internet connected computer.
Emergency restoration service
In a rare case when you do not have access to the Internet to restore your data or the amount of data needed to be restored is large and would require a long time to restore it, we offer data restoration on physical media. We would record your data to a physical medium, such a data DVD, CD-R or a mobile hard drive and immediately ship it to your preferred destination.
